Apple has just announced its latest phones, the iPhone 17 series. That is updates to three known models as well as the new iPhone Air, which takes the place of the iPhone Plus. If camping out on release day isn't your style, but you still wish to secure one at the earliest opportunity, you'll be able to pre-order the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max or iPhone Air from 10pm AEST on September 12th, in advance of the September 19th release date.

Aplpe’s iPhone 17 gets a fresh design with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and slimmer bezels. And after a long wait (and a lot of grumbling), the base iPhone 17 finally has a a 120Hz refresh rate.

Internally, the new A19 chip is faster and more energy-efficient, particularly when combined with Apple Intelligence. If you are upgrading from an older iPhone, you'll experience a significant bump in speed and better gaming performance courtesy of ProMotion.

Available iPhone 17 Colour Options

The iPhone 17 will come in a range of colours including black, white, steel gray, light blue, green and purple.

The iPhone 17 Air is set to come in black, white, light gold and sky blue.

The Pro and Pro Max models will be offered in blue, orange and silver.
